On March 3, 2015, the Honorable Victor H. Marrero granted Plaintiffs' motion for class certification in Anwar v. Fairfield Greenwich Ltd., et al. of Plaintiffs' remaining claims, alleging violations of federal securities law, common law tort, breach of contract and quasi-contract causes of action against remaining defendants Citco Group Limited and related entities, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers Netherlands Accountants N.V., in connection with the purchase and sale of interests in various funds marketed by the Fairfield Greenwich Group that were subsequently invested in varying degrees with Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, Inc. Persons who purchased any of the fund securities listed in the Second Amend Complaint and who still held any such securities at the time of Bernard Madoff's arrest in December 2008 should consider saving their records in order to participate in any further settlements in this action.
