On September 8, 2025, the Honorable Arun Subramanian denied, without prejudice, a motion by Defendants to compel arbitration and a motion for a stay. In this Action, Plaintiff alleges that Defendants violated the Sherman Antitrust Act and various State Consumer Protection laws, forcing Plaintiff to pay supracompetitive handling charges for secondary ticket sales through its uncontrolled fee structures. Plaintiff brings the action on behalf of the following Class:
All individuals who owned or possessed rights to a ticket for an event at a major venue in the United States that was originally purchased from TicketMaster (or one of its affiliated entities) who then resold the ticket after July 1, 2021 to a Secondary Purchaser through TicketMaster’s Secondary Ticket Exchange.
