Mish International Monetary Inc. v. Vega Capital London, Ltd. et al, 20-cv-4577 (N.D. Ill.)

September 4, 2026

On August 24, 2026, Honorable Manish S. Shah of the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois granted the Trader Defendants’ motion to revoke their pleas and objections based on their Fifth Amendment right to avoid testimony and avoid production of documents which would tend to incriminate them.

On August 24, 2026, the Court ordered discovery to reopen, and new depositions be taken of the Trader Defendants.

On September 4, 2026, the Court denied the Trader Defendants motion for a protective order that would have precluded any questions during the depositions of the Trader Defendants concerning financial transfers, the disposition of their trading profits from the alleged manipulation, and other topics.
