On March 9, 2016, the Honorable Brian M. Cogan preliminarily approved the Plaintiffs settlement with the final non-settling Defendants, Defendants Hellmann Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Ltd. Hong Kong, and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Inc., (“the Hellmann Defendants”). The total amount of settlements in the entire case is approximately $350 million so far. Lovell Stewart is co-lead counsel in this action alleging that the leading freight forwarders agreed to fix, inflate, and manipulate their surcharges.
